According to the latest report from the International Nut and Dried Fruit Council (INC), China continues to maintain its leading position in global walnut production, and the output in 2024 is expected to remain robust.

With the deepening of the "Belt and Road" initiative and the gradual normalization of China-Europe freight trains, China's walnut exports to Central Asia, West Asia, and other countries have become more convenient. At the same time, due to the rapid growth in domestic walnut production, market prices have significantly decreased, thereby further enhancing the competitiveness of Chinese walnuts in the international market. In 2023, China's walnut exports reached a new high compared to 2022.
