According to FDA, FDA proposes to revise food nutrition labeling regulations.

The revision of the label will update outdated serving size requirements, and the main parts of the label will be marked distinctly.

The label contents planned to revise includes the following points:

·Require to mark the information of “Added sugar”.

·Update the reference quantity to make it reflect the current people's intake.  Producers can decide the servings accordingly.

·Some foods contain more than one serving, but they can be eaten for one or more times. In addition to the energy and nutrition information per serving, it also needs to indicate the energy and nutrition information of the overall package.

·If containing potassium and vitamin D, it should be marked in the label.

·Revise the daily nutrient intake of various nutrients, such as calcium, fiber and vitamin D.

·Update the label format to highlight certain elements, such as energy, servings and the percent of the daily intake.
