The increasing rate of Zambia cashew production rate is 100% per year. Allan Chinambu, the president of Zambia Grower Association of Cashews, said that the processing output is increased to 130,000 tons at the end of each year, while the local consumption amount has been added to 50,000 tons.

The cashews are mainly planted in the west of Zambia, and it is full of potential if it is developed well; and it can create 10,000 working posts in the industry, and 50,000 working posts, which can maintain 100 small farms.
