As reported by news agency of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, on March 22, Guinea-Bissau started the sales of cashew nuts in 2014. The guiding selling price of Guinea-Bissau is 250FCFA per kilogram.

Barros, the interim Prime Minister, announced that the selling price of cashew nuts should be at minimum 800USD per ton. Meanwhile, the sales tax of cashew nuts reduced from 50FCFA per kilogram (0.07 US cent) to 40 FCFA.
