New Zealand Prime Ministry Denied the “Dual Standards” for Domestic and Export Foods

John · Key, the Prime Minister of New Zealand visited China for 4 days since March 18. He denied that New Zealand implements dual standards for domestic and export foods. Mr. Key said in an interview that, “we do not have dual standards but adopt the same standard for export and domestic consumption. The consumers in New Zealand are critical, and require high. Our enterprises shall provide high quality foods to them, too. We adopt many good experiences in the world. We have professional university to research on the food standard and safety. Meanwhile, we have been actively participating in competition in the global market so as to gain good quality and standard system”.
