According to European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), European Food Safety Authority expressed scientific opinions on Iodine’s dietary reference intake at the request of European Commission on May 7.
After relevant evaluations, EU experts suggested adequate Iodine intake(AI)for adult should be 150μg/ per day, for babies at the age of 7 -11 month 70-130μg/ per day and for breast-feeding women 200μg/ per day.
