The EU commission released (EU) No. 202/2014 regulation, and revised No. 10/2011 regulation on plastic materials and products contacting with food on March 3, 2014.

The regulation takes effect in 20 days after the release and is set with execution buffer date, namely, the plastic materials and products legally entering the EU market before March 24, 2013 can be continuously put into the market before and on March 24, 2015 until the sale of the inventory is completed, even though the materials and products do not conform to the requirements of the regulation
