The world leading chocolate candy manufacturer Ferrero Group announced on July 18 that it will purchase 100 percent of the stake of the Oltan Group, a Turkish family business, in order to continue to strengthen its investment in the hazelnut market and thus ensure and further improve the high quality of raw hazelnuts.

Hazelnut is an important raw material of Ferrero products, while Oltan Group is a leading global supplier of hazelnuts. Ferrero Group’s purchase of Turkish family business Oltan Group is currently waiting to be finally approved by the local regulatory authorities.
