The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) launched a series of initiatives aiming at streamlining the risk assessment process (FCMS) of food contact materials (FCMs) and other substances within its purview.

Meanwhile, the European Food Safety Authority revealed the new members of food contact materials, enzymes, flavorings and processing aids group. The new team will start a three-year term starting from July 1st .
