According to the weekly report released by SovEcon, an agricultural advisory body in Russia, the price of sunflower seeds rose slightly in Russia in the past week.
      The price of sunflower seeds was 12,400 rubles in Russia in the past week through Friday, equivalent to about 305 dollars, rising by 375 rubles than a week ago.
      The Institute of Agricultural Market Studies (IKAR) said that the price of sunflower seeds was 329 dollars per ton in Russia, about the same with that the last week. SovEcon said that the crude sunflower oil was quoted at 800 dollars per ton in the Black Sea region, rising by 10 dollars than that in the last week. IKAR estimated that the price of sunflower oil was 790 dollars per ton, rising by 20 dollars than that in the last week.
