The U.S. Recalls Imported Organic Amygdalus Comnnis with Higher Hydrocyanic Acid

According to the information of FDA, on November 7, FDA of the U.S. issued a recall notice announcing that a company in California declared to recall two types of imported organic Amygdalus Comnnis. It is because that a higher amount of hydrocyanic acid has been found in such products and toxicosis may be caused after eating.

The name of such faulty product is “Italian Imported Whole Foods Market Organic Amygdalus Comnnis” and “Spanish Imported Whole Foods Market Organic Amygdalus Comnnis”; Marin Foods Specialties has launched the product recalls.

Up to now, there has been no related case reports existed. The FDA of the U.S. said that the consumers who have purchased such faulty products are able to return the goods and get refund.
