Food adulteration alert system will be launched by EU in the beginning of 2015, which is going to be applied to preventing the recurrence of, for example “horse meat scandal”, food safety affair. The system is similar to the EU Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) with data sharing among all member countries. And the port agency of each member country will become the earliest unit to use such system.
