The weekly report released by Buenos Aires Grains Exchange showed that by the week of November 20, Argentina sowed 82% of sunflower seeds in 2014/15, higher than the 68.3% in last week, reduced by 12.2 points than the same period last year and reduced by 12 points over last week on week-on-week basis.

　　The report showed that, so far, farmers have sown 1,065,800 hectares of sunflower seeds, higher than the 887,900 hectares of last week.

　　The Exchange expected that, in 2014/15, the sunflower seeds will cover an area of 1.3 million hectares in Argentina, reduced by 12% compared to the 1.48 million hectares in 2013/14.
