It is reported in the Tehran Times on November 10 that, in the first seven months of the Iran calendar year (March 21 - October 22), Iran has exported 38,600 tons of pistachios, increased by 21% over the same period last year. In the first seven months, pistachios export accounted for 1.65% of Iran's non-oil exports.

　　In last Iran calendar year, the food and agricultural products export value was $5.2 billion in Iran, while import value was $13.2 billion. The food and agricultural products trade in last Iran calendar year accounted for 20.2% of the country's total non-oil trade.
