According to USA FDA message, USA FDA issued an announcement on December 2: The whole foods market currently recalls part of Tarte Aux Pommes in USA, because these products don’t claim to contain almond.

It is understood that these products are sold in West Hartford Center of Connecticut State of USA. The defective products were sold from November 16 to November 28, with the validity between November 20 and December 1.

The defective products contain almond allergens but no declaration is made, thus they are risky to persons allergic or intolerant to almond. The merchants have posted the recall announcement in the supermarket and pulled off the defective products from the shelves.

Up to now, there have been no reports on relevant illness or allergies. USA FDA expressed that consumers who have bought defective products from supermarkets in USA can be fully refunded with relevant vouchers.
