Since December 13, Germany will implement new food labeling law, which requires that all food manufacturers shall provide more accurate product source information. The national inspection department expresses that, according to Germany new food labeling law, when food produced by countries outside EU is exported to Germany, it shall be subject to quarantine inspection at EU border in accordance with the relevant provisions. After entering Germany, it will undergo reinspection; if discovering that the problem can’t be handled, it shall be locally destroyed. This requires enterprises to indicate the producer, production flow, origin, enterprise name, food ingredients, production date, shelf life, certification label, etc. on the packaging label upon export, and historical information shall be traced back, so as to find out the reason if a problem occurs.
