On Jan. 19, 2015, Pakistan Standards & Quality Control Authority released the No. G/TBT/N/PAK/58 notification to announce the draft on legal metrological requirements for labeling of prepackaged products in aspects of weight, volume, linear measure, area or count (Draft PS: 3703 First Edition). Sampling plans and procedures for use by legal metrology officials in verifying the quantity of product in prepackages.

    Final date for comments of this notification is 60 days from the date of notification. The date of adoption and entry to into force are to be determined.
