As said by Federal Anti-Monopoly Service, Russia, the government needs to increase export tariff of sunflower seeds to stabilize the domestic price. At present, the export tariff if sunflower seeds is 13.67%.

The Federal Anti-Monopoly Service claimed they have submitted the proposal to Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Economic Development.

　   As said by Federal Anti-Monopoly Service, although the proportion of sunflower seeds exported to total domestic output is very small (approaching to 1%), the manufacturers and suppliers depend on export and international market. Therefore, during August to December 2014, the retail of sunflower oil in federal network zone rises 10.5%, and retail prices in each area and small shops rise 4% - 7.5%.
