According to information of the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), FSANZ released the food standard notification and announcement 02-15 on February 15, which approves to use Rebaudioside M as a sweetener for food.

The main content of the announcement 02-15 is as follows:

A1108-Apply to use Rebaudioside M as a high intensity stevioside sweetener for food; revise P1036 proposal; approve M1010- maximum residue limit (2014) standard and refuse A1039- application of using Low THC Hemp as food and other issues.
