Ecuador will officially increase tariff for 2800 kinds of imported commodities from March 11 (Wednesday). The imported foods involved in the policy are 461 kinds. The tariff is increased 5%-45% respectively. The imported foods which tariff is increased 45% contain fresh and frozen pork and beef, candy, fresh fruits and dry fruits, and vegetables such as potato, onion, tomato, garlic and broad bean; the imported foods which tariff is increased 25% contain stout, wine, sparking wine, grape juice for wine, brandy, vodka, gin, whisky. The validity period of the policy is 15 months.
