KFDA issues the Guide to the Identification of Foreign Objects in the Food in favor of local autonomy groups and food enterprises indentifying foreign objects that may have been mixed in foods to manage foods in a more effective way.

Contents of the Guide mainly include the analytical approach of foreign objects in foods, various examples of foreign objects mixing in the food, and analysis result of materials that may have been mixed in the food.

The Guide publishes photos for 200 materials that may be mixed in the food as foreign objects. It also describes their applications and characteristics.
