It is reported that, Australia-China trade
report of 2014 pointed that, in the past five years, Australia’s
agricultural product and food export to China has a sharp rise. China has become Australia’s largest agricultural
and food export market.
The report said China’s
demand for Australia high
quality food has continuously grown and China
has become Australia’s
largest buyer of agricultural products. In 2013, Australia’s
beef export to China
increased almost four times and other meat export also doubly increased. China is still Australia’s
largest dairy product export market, and Australia’s
dairy product export to mainland China,
Hong Kong and Taiwan
increased by 40% this year. In the same year, Australia’s
oilseed export to China
increased by more than 500%.
