not the government department but the “Agricultural Association”. Japanese
“Agricultural Association” makes the people eat the “rest assured food” by food
quality control from the source, circulation and each link.
Japanese “Agricultural Association” is affectionately called “JA” by the
Japanese. If the package of the agricultural products sold on the global market
is printed with these two clear characters, safety can be guaranteed. JA is an
independent legal person which is spontaneously established by practitioner engaged
in agricultural production, which accepts government guidance. As Japan’s food
safety commission, Ministry of Agriculture and the relevant agricultural policy
performer, JA has carried out food safety supervision, which has provided the maximum
guarantee both in production and life for farmers and consumers.
