According
to the information of the Food Standards Agency (FSA), the Food Standards
Agency recently has released an aspartame research report and the researchers
believe that there is no need to take measures for aspartame to ensure people’s
health.
The research has recruited the crowd thinking having bad reaction to aspartame and some crowd feeling normal after eating. Give two groups of crowd a kind of compressed dry food to ensure that dry food and compressed dry food are not easy to distinguish. The research has found that some crowd thinking sensitive to aspartame has no abnormal reaction after eating the compressed dry food.
The
chief scientific adviser of the UK Food Standards Agency, Guy Poppy said that,
someone expresses that his body has bad reaction after eating the food and
beverage containing aspartame, so it is necessary to find more examples of
adverse reactions. Because aspartame has been approved as additive, this research
has not carried out the comprehensive evaluation on the safety of aspartame.
As
early as in December 2013, the European Union Food Safety Authority issued
comprehensive risk assessment report on aspartame. The European Union Food
Safety Authority pointed out that under the current exposure level, human’s
aspartame and its degradation products consumption is safe.
