According to the Ukraine National Bureau of Statistics, as of June 1, 2015, Ukraine sunflower seed stocks are 1500000 tons, compared with the same period last year decreased by 32.5%.

As of June 1, sunflower seed of large and medium-sized agricultural enterprises in Ukraine holds inventory for 0.8 million tons, compared to the same period last year increased by 17%; but the sunflower seed processing and storage companies hold inventory reduced to 0.7 million tons, compared to the same period last year decreased 55.5%.

According to the United States department of agriculture, 2014/15 (October to September) Ukraine sunflower seeds yield is 10 million tons, 11.6 million tons less than that of last year; Ending inventory is 197000 tons, 367000 tons less than that of last year. 2015/16 Ukraine sunflower seeds yield will be further reduced to 10 million tons, the ending inventory will be reduced to 32000 tons.
