As reported by a foreign
media that experts in UK and USA say the extreme climate such as violent
rainstorm, draught and heat wave would lead to more frequent and severer food
shortage because of changes in global weather and food supply system.
Experts say due to large
global food supply pressure and fast increase of extreme climate phenomena, the
large scale food shortage which may occur once every century under past
environment may occur every 30 years in the future.
UK-US Taskforce on Extreme Weather and Global Food System Resilience warned in this report that the subconscious reactions of countries on production reduction, such as implementing export or import bans on certain foods or crops, probably deteriorate problems and raise food price.
