KFDA has
announced on August 21, 2015 that it will conduct comprehensive reevaluation
about food specification reference for the first time with five years as a
cycle in accordance with “Basic Plan for Food Reference and Specification
Management” formulated as per “Food Hygiene Law”.
The period for conducting
comprehensive reevaluation is from 2015 to 2019. Main contents of reevaluation
are specification reference of non-intention pollutant; specification reference
of pesticide residue; specification reference of food additive; specification
reference of appliance and container; management advancement of food
specification reference.
