Recently, in the international conference of cashew nut held by Maputo, Capital of Mozambique, Mozambique and Guinea-Bissau said both parties plan to seek for cooperation in cashew nut industry.
It is reported that two representatives of the two countries have started contacting. Guinea-Bissau is the second largest cashew nut production country in Africa, and averagely produces 200,000t cashew nuts every year. It is seeking for partners in Mozambique in relevant processing fields.
At present, Mozambique is the fourth largest cashew nuts production countries in Africa, following Ivory Coast, Guinea-Bissau and Tanzania.
