During 2015/16, the Chinese walnut yield predicted by USA walnut industry is 1 Million ton, increasing 11% year on year. With expansion of plantation area, the walnut yield will rise continuously in the next few years.

1: USA walnut situations

USA walnuts are under harvest at present, and the quality of crops is favorable. The Chinese market currently seems not interested in USA walnuts while European buyers have adapted to current cheap price, although there are cheaper materials.

2: Eastern Europe walnut quotation

Eastern Europe walnuts start making offers, but at present the quotation of walnut is still high. Compared with USA walnuts, the price is almost 1 USD per kilo higher.
