News from Customhouse Newspaper in Vietnam released: as is unveiled by Society of Cashew Nuts in Vietnam, export volume of cashew nut between January and September reached 0.245 million tons, registering an export capital of 1.78 billion USD, growing respectively by 8% and 20%. 2015 is expecting an export of cashew nuts amounting to 0.3 million tons and an export capital of 2.5 billion USD, up by 25% year-on-year. Cashew nuts in Vietnam are mainly exported to US, Netherlands and China to the tune of 61.17% of the total volume. For now, raw materials for cashew cuts provided in local Vietnam can only meet 50% of its production and processing capacity.
