The weekly report released by Buenos Aires Grains Exchange shows within the week as of Oct. 22, 2015/16 sunflower seeds slowing area has reached 523,250ha., equaling to 36.1% of planned slowing area, 6.8% higher than the 29.3% in the previous week, and 4.4% lower than that in the previous year.

        The Buenos Aires Grains Exchange predicts that the sunflower seed sowing area in this year will reach 1.45 million ha., increasing nearly 11.5% than the 1.3 million ha. in the same period the previous year.
