According to report of Vietnam Economic Times on Nov. 13, the Vietnam cashew output in the entire year will be USD 2.5 Billion, accounting for half of global cashew kernel trade volume, and nearly 30% of total global cashew trade volume.

According to the report, at present, the planting area of Vietnam cashew is about 300,000 ha., distributing in provinces of Binh Phu, Ba Ria-Vung Tau , Dong Nai, Binh Thuan, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh and Dac Iac. In order to meet export demands, Vietnam will ceaselessly improve cashew output. By 2020, the cashew output may reach 450,000t.
