FAO has released a new report before the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP21) held in Paris to warn that because the frequency and seriousness of drought, flood, storm and other disasters rises due to climate change, many developing countries are under unsafe risks of grains. By analyzing and studying disaster cycle and number of disasters caused by various types of natural disasters every year during 2003 and 2013 worldwide, the disasters are doubled since 1980s. The total economic loss caused is about USD 1.5 Trillion.
