Thailand Plans to Revise Regulations on Food Additives

On Dec. 1, 2015, Thailand released No. G/SPS/N/THA/230、G/SPS/N/THA/231 Bulletin to revise relevant provisions on food additives and toxin. The contents are as follows:


   Food additives: MOPH revised existing regulations on food additive labels to comply with prepackaged food label of Ministry of Public Health, BE2557 (201) No. 36 Bulletin; the special conditions revised show label requirements of two or more blend food additive proportion. The blend food additives are sold to food manufacturer or processed as raw materials, but not directly sold to consumers or food additive packaging companies.


       Aforesaid bulletin will take effect after official bulletin is released.
