Recently, it is decided on the ministerial meeting of the WTO that in 2023 the agricultural export subsidies and food assistances will be fully cancelled.

It is reported that in this ministerial meeting new cancellation deadline has been set. On the meeting, it is requested that the developed countries shall cancel the agricultural export subsidies immediately but the actual deadline is 2020 due to the exception products. The deadline for emerging economies and developing countries is 2023.
