According to Abidjan News, a media of Ivory Coast, as the new cashew production season starts from Feb. 15, 2016 and new cashew field purchase protection price is released, Cotton and Cashew Association (CCA) and multiple cashew farmers in Ivory Coast are greatly inspired. 

In 2015, cashew industry in Ivory Coast developed rapidly and became the first cashew production country in the world in one leap. In 2016, the cashew nut output of Ivory Coast will reach 725,000t by prediction, slightly increasing 3.2% year on year. But, it is enough to facilitate the status as the world first cashew production country.
