On March 2, 2016, EU released Implementation Rules for Committee (EU) 2016/263 to revise contents of appendix II of (EU) No1333/2008 Codex of Food Additives, regulations of European Parliament and European Commission. In Table D and Table E in appendix II, the food category 12.3 is revised from “vinegar” to “vinegar and dilute acetic acid (diluted to 4%-30% by water)”. The codex will take effect from the 20th day after issuance.
