According to media of Georgia, the hazelnut export in 2015 reached USD 176 Million, dropping 3.8% year on year.
    According to analysis, the output growth of Turkey, the largest hazelnut production country in the world, in 2015 is the major cause for global hazelnut price reduction, so as to lead to decrease of hazelnut export of Georgia in 2015.
