According to European Commission website on April 15, the new edition Union Customs Code will be implemented from May 1 this year. It is reported that the New Union Customs Code will simplify customs procedures, provide more distinct rules to guarantee fair treatment, and confirm common data demand to guarantee seamless data exchange, improve risk management, fight illegal goods trade, terrorism and other crimes.
