Latin America’s Macadamia Nut Partially Replace Coffee as Vital Economic Crop

There are bright prospects for producing and planting macadamia nut in Mexican, especially the coffee planting area represented by Puebla region, including Huauchinango,Tlapacoya, Xicotepec and Zihuateutla, of which the terrain, weather condition and elevation in several autonomous province are well sited for the cultivation of macadamia nut.

Recently, Brazil has begun the commercial planting of the macadamia nut. They have ever tried to plant such dried fruit, however, it was very difficult for the planters to sell the fruitage before due to no effective channel marketing being developed. Compelled against their will, they had to use them as the fertilizer.
