California Almond Plantation Area Increase Hitting a Record High

Recently NASS of United States Department of Agriculture released that by 2015 the plantation area of almonds in California is about 1,110,000acre, increasing 6% than the 1,050,000acre revised in 2014, in which almond plants in 890,000acre are in fruiting period. The plantation area in Kern, Fresno, Stanislaus, Merced and Madera is the largest, accounting to 73% of total area in fruiting area.
