According to news about California Walnuts, the shipment of walnuts in May 2016 is 41,934 Inshell equivalent tons, increasing 30% year on year. The amount in the previous year is 32,343ton. 

So far, compared with market year of 2015/16 and 2014/15, the amount is 507,186 Inshell equivalent tons in 2015/2016, and the number is 442,067 in the previous year. The amount increases 15%, totally 65,119tons.
