The South African macadamia nuts have currently arrived at European and Asian market successively. The overall quality of South African macadamia nuts is lower than that in the previous year. Due to little precipitation during growth period, the unshelled macadamia nut size is smaller than usual. 

According to prediction in the beginning of the year, the output of South African macadamia nuts will be 43000t. However, the output will be reduced to 39000t by prediction based on that in previous months. The current market output is predicted at 36000-39000t.
