India to revise its food safety and standards act 2016 protocol

On Aug. 9th, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India published notifications (documents codes G/SPS/N/IND/151、152、153 and 154), planning to revise its Food Safety and Standards (on food standards and food additives) Act 2016 Protocol. The protocol revised the following parts, the standards on fat, oil and lipid emulsion under article 2.2, the standards on microorganism contained in fruits, vegetables and products made of them under the table 4 of Appendix B, the standards on carbonic acid fruit beverage and fruit beverage, and the standards on fruits and vegetables food under article 2.2. The protocol seeks for opinions before October 8th 2016, and more details can be seen on the following websites:
