It is reported that during Sep.19-Sep. 22, 2016, the ACA World Cashew Festival & Expo 2016 was held in Bissau. The topic of the conference is “A Decade of Transformation”. Over 200 representatives from cashew nut producers, trader and relevant promotion agencies and associations in over 30 countries attended the expo.

The main themes of the conference contain how to invest in African cashew nuts, competitiveness of African cashew nut processing, food safety and international standards, management of cashew enterprises, risks and decision making, competitiveness of financing in cashew industry, and role of development-oriented financial institutions.
