The Amendment of “Export Tariff for Some Oil Seeds” about supporting competitiveness of sunflower seed producers which is supposed to implement on Jan. 26, 2015 by Ukraine has been withdrawn currently by Ukrainian Parliament.

The Draft plans to cancel export tariff of sunflower seeds. Once realized, the export volume of sunflower seeds might be improved.

In the 2015/16 fiscal year, Ukraine has exported 83,000t sunflower seeds, and 4.478 million ton sunflower seed oil.
