According to data of CEPCI, during April to September this year, the cashew nut export volume and value in India reduced 25% and 13% respectively, and reached 36,895t and 21.37billion Rupee. However, during that period, the average unit price rises from 503.89 Rupee to 579.42 Rupee per kg, increasing 15%.

Meanwhile, the raw cashew nut import in first five months of 2016-17 in India also reduced 32%. The import volume dropped to 500329t from the 730309t in the previous year while the import value dropped from 61.35 Billion Rupee to 53.36 Rupee.
