Australian Macadamia Society publishes final output of macadamia nuts in 2016 recently. The growers gained good harvest for the second consecutive year. The macadamia output in 2016 in Australia reached 52000t (including 10% water content), increasing 8% than that in 2015.

In terms of products, output of macadamia nuts reached 10500t, holding the line with that in 2015.

In terms of production area, the output in Bundaberg region accounted for over 40% of output in Australia.
