According to the preliminary data published by Russian State Statistics Service, the yields of Russian sunflower seeds and soybeans in 2016 created the highest record in history.

The soybean yield of this year is 3,100,000 tons with a 14.5% growth compared to 2,700,000 tons of last year. The sunflower seed yield is 10,700,000 tons, which is higher than the historic record of 9,800,000 tons created in 2013.

The rapeseed yield is 1,000,000 tons, basically the same to that of last year.
