On Feb. 2, 2017, the Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) released No. 2017-37 announcement, and the revision is involved with the detailed implementation rules for the Food Health Law. The revised content mainly includes: According to the compulsory identified sodium content of clause 2 of article 11 of the Food Health Law, two items of article 75 of the detailed implementation rules for the Food Health Law are in violation of the rules, so No. 13332 rule which was released on May 18, 2015 was revised, and administrative punishment provisions about the sodium content identification in relevant illegal food in the detailed implementation rules for the Food Health Law were revised. The comment for the revised draft will be expired by March 14, 2017.
